OBJECTIVE OF THE TRAINING
You are a young European student or worker between 18 and 25 years old and you have passed a first vocational exam already after a 2 years minimum training in your own country; you can intensify your training and furthermore develop your skills thanks to a one year apprenticeship contract leading to a French diploma in our Vocational Training Centre.

APPLICATION
Applicants should be over 18, and preferably already having a more than minimum knowledge of the French language. They should have a first experience in the training they are applying for, and should provide a copy of their initial diploma validating their skills in their home country.

Firstly offers will be focused on car mechanics and hairstylists. Secondly, applicants for food trades (baker, butcher, confectioner, and cook), pharmacy assistants or dental technicians could be considered.

SELECTION
Our European partners (schools or professional organisations) operate a first selection in their own country. The CIFAC makes the final decision.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Language training can be started in the home country. It will be intensified during the first weeks at CIFAC, so that European apprentices are able then to join normal French courses within a regular group of French apprentices. Accordingly, French language tuition support can be provided with a complementary French module until the student can fit in.

COURSES
As a Technical and Vocational Training Centre, we are working within a dual system, with students alternating one week courses and three week on-the-job training under an apprenticeship contract. Skills are assessed both by the school and the employer, and the final examination takes place in June with assessment of both professional and general knowledge topics (see contents below)
